The Associate Account Manager is responsible for driving new business opportunities by identifying and initiating contact with potential clients, including screen printers, promotional product distributors, and team dealers, to promote our Activewear brands and increase sales through the wholesale distributor channel. In addition to generating sales through distributors, this role may involve identifying potential direct customers and creating leads in Salesforce to support business growth. A proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and strategic thinking will be essential in expanding the reach of our Activewear brands while fostering strong relationships with both distributor partners and potential direct clients.
Continuously prospecting, identifying, and initiating contact with potential customers to promote and educate screen printers, promotional products distributors, team dealers, and other end users about our Activewear brands through missionary sales efforts. This role requires a minimum number of market calls per week with at least 3.5 days of travel weekly to engage with customers within the region. | 65% |
Works directly with Activewear sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to communicate market trends, lead generation, and help develop sales and promotional strategies that meet/exceed sales and profitability expectations for the Activewear business. | 10% |
Complete necessary reporting in Salesforce, as directed by management. This includes submitting weekly call reports, tracking lead generation, and providing updates on sales activities to ensure accurate and timely data for decision-making and performance evaluation. | 10% |
Monitor weekly point of sale, analyze distributor pricing and promotions to communicate effectively to the market when making missionary calls. Proactive communication is required to provide market intelligence to the internal Activewear team. | 10% |
Attend industry tradeshows, distributor open houses, and customer meetings alongside the Activewear sales team. Participate in end-user calls with distributor account managers to deepen relationships and further promote the Activewear brand. | 5% |
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent years of professional experience.
Ability to multi-task and manage many projects simultaneously
