The IT Administrator is responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of computer and network hardware, software, communication and material handling systems within the facility. May supervise personnel who assist with the installation, troubleshooting, repairing, training, auditing and reporting of systems and equipment.
Installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and training related to workstations, scanners, material handling systems and other facility equipment and systems.
Supervise the area’s daily activities to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficiency. Prepare schedules and assign daily work direction as appropriate.
Actively problem solve to identify constraints and operational issues early, resulting in increased efficiency.
Monitor and review system generated errors and suggest improved methodology and practices to correct errors. May lead process improvement initiatives and projects.
Recommend and maintain accurate inventory of DC computer and network hardware. Utilize EAM to manage system maintenance functions.
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with Corporate and supplier support personnel.
