Position Summary

The Lead Software Engineer is assigned to one of the following software development teams.

 

Specific Responsibilities

Salesforce:

Work on an agile software development team to design, build, test and maintain applications on Salesforce Service, Marketing and Sales Cloud across all business units of Fruit of the Loom, Inc. Stay up to date on changes to the Salesforce platform and capabilities. Work with business representatives to understand their processes and design solutions in Salesforce to meet their requirements. Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions. Perform training and demonstrations to stakeholders. Serve as a mentor to less experienced team members. Guide and contribute to software engineering best practices on development teams.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced systems design experience
  • Able to communicate solution designs to technical and non-technical people
  • Expert level knowledge of and experience with:
    • Object-oriented languages such as Java or C#
    • Relational Data Models, ORM frameworks, SQL and databases such as Oracle or MSSQL Server
    • Metalanguages such as XML and JSON
    • Web service standards such as SOAP and REST
    • JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, AngularJS or React
    • Cloud-based application platforms
    • Software engineering best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud or Commerce Cloud desirable but not required

 

Minimum Job Experience Required

8-10 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise application software.
